Team Carson

Our son, Carson was diagnosed with Autism May 2012 at age 3. He is now a pretty awesome 10 year old who loves his little brother Ashton, his pets - guinea pigs Oreo and Freddy and dogs Tinka and Newman, Fortnite, Aircrafts, geography and history. We have been involved in some amazing programs that have helped and he is currently attending public school, thanks to these programs and incredibly supportive school staff.  Academically he does well, but has some difficulties with group activities and team sports, sensory processing, routine changes and connecting with peers. My goal is to educate others to dispel myths surrounding autism, promote understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity, paving the way to more inclusive communities and school systems. This takes time, effort, networking, resource and of course, funding! Please feel free to join me on my mission by walking with us or making a small donation to our walk.

Thank you!
