About Walk the Walk for Autism

Wherever you go these days, you hear lots of talk about autism. But when thousa nds of families and individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Nova Scotia are in need of support and services, talk just isn't enough.

Well, now it's time to walk the walk!

On June 18th, 2011, communities across the province WALKED THE WALK FOR AUTISM - Nova Scotia's second annual awareness walk for autism.

With walks being held in Halifax, Sydney, Middleton, Bridgewater, Amherst, Port Hawkesbury, and Yarmouth, people all over the province are invited to walk together to raise awareness and support for autism programs and services in their own communities.

Register for WALK THE WALK FOR AUTISM in your area, print a pledge form or make a donation through the links on this site. You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook, so don’t forget to tell your friends about this great event!

Thank you to everyone for your understanding, and for your amazing support of this worthy cause.
